FBE Announces New Rapid Response Grant Awards and Invites New Grant Applications
The Foundation for Belmont Education (FBE) is pleased to announce two new Rapid Response Grants awarded to Belmont Public Schools on February 5, 2021 totaling $2,608. To date, the FBE has awarded seven Rapid Response Grants totaling $12,217, and we continue to encourage and accept applications for projects that address needs that arise from Covid-19 pandemic impacts in our schools.
Below is a list of all Rapid Response Grants awarded to date to help illustrate the kinds of projects that qualify for Rapid Response funding, and to inspire ideas and encourage teachers and staff with similar Covid-related needs to submit projects for consideration. As the name implies, the FBE Program Committee is reviewing Rapid Response grant applications RAPIDLY and meets monthly to review grants. Grant decisions are announced within a few days following each meeting.

Please also note the application date for Learning Excellence Grants (LEGP) and Innovative Teaching Initiative Grants (ITI) is March 2, 2021, and applications are accepted anytime leading up to the deadline. Click here to access information and applications for LEGP and ITI grants.
The FBE is grateful for the generous community support that enables us to provide funding for projects that address the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic in our schools as well as numerous Learning Excellence Grants and Innovative Teaching Initiatives throughout the year.
With this outstanding support, we look forward to awarding many more grants to our schools in the coming years.
