2019 Grants -	From funding training in Integrating Civics Education* into the 8th Grade Curriculum, to Girl Power! A motivational workshop for girls at BHS during Diversity Day with Dr. Lori Monaco*
2018 Grants -	From funding sending Belmont Science and Technology teachers to the state’s annual Science Teacher (MAST) conference, to funding A Differentiated Non-Fiction Reading and Media Literacy Curriculum; to strengthen middle school students’ ability to analyze media and detect “fake news”
2017 Grants -	From funding LEGO Storytelling Kits, to Social Emotional Learning;* continued training in the knowledge and practices of SEL*
2016 Grants -	From funding equipment that allows hands-on dissections in Biology,* to an iRover for Grade 1 Mathematics*

STAR and Community Awards are a wonderful and supportive way to say thank you! They honor exemplary educators, school staff, and community members who have made a difference. $25 for one award or $100 for five awards. Your payment is a direct donation to the FBE and will be used to fund innovative and enriching experiences for our Belmont Public School students.

The FBE will personalize awards and deliver a print version to your teacher(s), staff or community member(s). When applicable, please remember to include your recipient’s school next to their name when completing your STAR Award details!
