COVID Cases Reporting Wednesday, May 25, 2022

I write to inform you that new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in our school community. Week of 5/25/2022: One hundred and thirteen (113) new COVID-19 positive cases in the district: (26) Belmont High School, (32) Chenery Middle School, (22) Burbank Elementary School, (9) Butler Elementary School, (10) Winn Brook Elementary School, and (14) Wellington Elementary School.

Superintendent Message - Recommendations for Wearing Masks

The Belmont Health Department strongly recommends that everyone wear a mask when indoors, regardless of vaccination status, due to the increased level of spread of COVID-19 in the community.

I would like to send each of you my best wishes for a happy new year. As we begin the second half of the academic year in the midst of the Omicron surge, I am writing to share several district updates. Our current goal, as it has been all year, is to keep children in school and to do so as safely as possible.
