Second COVID Vaccine Clinic for Students Ages 12 and Older. We are happy to announce that we are partnering again with Pelmeds Pharmacy to offer a second clinic for the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccination to our students ages 12 and up. Their team of vaccinators will come to our schools to administer the vaccine.

Reminders for travel, outdoors, physicals. If you are traveling out of state for longer than 24 hours, we require PCR testing of all students within 72 hours prior to your arrival back into Massachusetts or upon your return. Please be sure to quarantine until you receive your results.

Notice to families and staff to discontinue pooled testing at BHS. This letter is to inform you of our decision to discontinue our participation in the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) and Department of Public Health (DPH) funded COVID-19 pooled testing program for Belmont High School students and staff.

We are happy to announce that we are partnering with Pelmeds Pharmacy to offer the 2 dose of Pfizer Covid-19 vaccination series to our students ages 12 and up. Their team of vaccinators will come onsite to our school to provide immunizations on May 24, 2021, 8 am -2 pm, at the Chenery AND 8 am - 12 pm at Belmont High School. 

Protocols for Responding to COVID Scenarios

Please note that the Belmont Public Schools still require all staff, students, parents, and guardians (regardless of vaccination status) to wear face coverings while in our buildings and on our school grounds. Please continue to review the importance of a properly fitting mask with your students to ensure the health and safety of everyone. 

ALL students are expected to provide a PCR test after travel out of Massachusetts for greater than 24 hours.

Daily Symptom Check and Seasonal Allergy information. Those with asthma and seasonal allergies may experience an increase in symptoms as the pollen levels rise. Some of these symptoms such as itchy eyes, runny nose, sneezing, nasal congestion, post-nasal drip, cough, and even allergic asthma symptoms of wheezing and shortness of breath mimic those of COVID-19.

Masks or face coverings are one of the most important mitigation tools to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Masks covering the nose and mouth are to be worn by ALL students, staff, visitors, and vendors.
