The past year has been marked by anxiety, loss, isolation, and fear as we grappled with a global health crisis, with systemic racism, and closer to home – with the violent death of a Belmont resident. This panel, featuring Matt Bennett, Beth Chin, and moderated by Lisa Gibalerio, will explore the following: How do we process this trauma? For ourselves and with our children. How do we instill resiliency while acknowledging all that is transpiring?

Junior Police Academy Summer Session 2021
 Junior Police Academy Summer Session 2021
For Juniors Ages 12-16. The academy will give participants a chance to learn some of the things officers learn in a real police academy. Topics will include defensive tactics, motor vehicle laws and car stops, drug ID and investigation, computer forensics, social media safety and much more. Days will start off with physical training and then move on to both classroom and practical exercises.

I write to inform you about new cases of confirmed COVID-19 in our school community.  We received confirmation from the Belmont Department of Health on 4/13/2021 regarding these cases. This is what we know for certain at this time: The Department of Health received confirmation of a laboratory testing report indicating that two school community members (i.e., student or staff) -- one at Belmont High School and one at Chenery Middle School -- have been diagnosed with positive cases of COVID-19.

I write to inform you about a new case of confirmed COVID-19 in our school community.  We received confirmation from the Belmont Department of Health late on 4/9/2021 regarding this case. This is what we know for certain at this time: The Department of Health received confirmation of a laboratory testing report indicating that one school community member (i.e., student or staff) at Belmont High School has been diagnosed with a positive case of COVID-19.
