This is what we know for certain at this time: The Department of Health received confirmation of a laboratory testing report indicating that two school community members (i.e., student or staff) at the W.L. Superintendent's Newsletter April/May 2021

Our educators were celebrated during Teacher appreciation week on May 3 through May 7. The PTA/PTO provided food trucks at schools, snacks and treats in teacher break rooms, and other various terrific ways to show our educators how much they mean to us. During this appreciation week, we want to thank our faculty, staff, school administrators, and families for their flexibility and support during this pandemic year. In addition, we also want to thank the advisory and working groups for volunteering their time and their help in unpacking the challenges associated with returning first to hybrid and then to full in-person learning. This work helped pave the road back in April for all our students to attend school full in-person, if they chose to do so.

FBE Outstanding Teacher Awards Honorees for 2020 & 2021
In our world turned upside down by pandemic, the FBE and the Belmont Savings Bank Foundation honor the ENTIRE STAFF of the Belmont Public Schools as Outstanding Teachers and Staff for 2020 and 2021.  On May 4 and 5, to celebrate the Outstanding Staff, each school was presented with a large poster of this image composed of words of gratitude solicited from the entire community. The request for words of appreciation yielded over 600 words from nearly 200 responses!
