Barring any further cancellations, the last day of school for 2011-2012 will be a half day on Thursday, June 14, 2012. This closing date allows for the 180 school days required by the State Department of Education.

The 2012-2013 school year will begin Wednesday, September 5, with a half day for all students in grades 1 through 12 - a practice different from prior years that we need to follow to be in compliance with state requirements for student attendance.

It's STAR or FRIEND Award Time!

Every year at this time, many families choose to honor Belmont Public School teachers or staff members by making a STAR Award donation to the Foundation for Belmont Education. You may also order a Friend Award to honor that very special individual.

Golden Shoes

Dates: MAY 1 – 31, 2012. Walk as a family, Get to know Belmont, Find a Golden Shoe - Win a Prize! No Entry Required! Rules: Only one prize per family. Follow directions on each shoe. Shoes must be returned to the Health Department before prize is awarded.
