The Belmont Public Schools Office of Human Resources is a group of individuals dedicated to supporting our educators, leaders, and students in every aspect of their work. We focus our efforts around three key human capital 'levers': Recruiting, Hiring, and Retaining. These levers are at the center of our strategy for accelerating student learning, as we believe it is our people who are the driving force for the positive changes our district is making toward equity, coherence, and improvement.
The Office of Human Resources is
committed to developing a racially, ethnically, culturally, and linguistically diverse group of highly effective and culturally proficient educators and principals
dedicated to both the personal and professional welfare of Belmont Public Schools staff.
At all levels, we seek to do our part to support the strategic goals of the district by recruiting and hiring the most qualified individuals for every position. We are committed to implementing a thorough and thoughtful interview and selection process for all positions.
We provide ongoing assistance to staff in areas such as educators' licensure, highly qualified status, evaluation, and working conditions. We work collaboratively to foster a positive working relationship with the district’s unions. We encourage Belmont’s staff to consider the Human Resources office as a support in all aspects of their work life.
