Welcome to your new position with Belmont Public Schools! We hope your career with us will be a long and happy one. Below you will find all of the required forms and information you will need to begin your employment with BPS.
Required Forms
Completed paperwork must be submitted in-person to the Human Resources Department, along with a valid photo ID and proof of authorization to work in the US (See I-9 form instructions for allowable forms of identification). The Human Resources Department is located in the School Administration at 644 Pleasant Street, Belmont.
A background check must be completed prior to starting work in the District. If you have completed a fingerprint-based background check as a condition of employment in a Massachusetts school district in the past year, you may request that district to send a letter of suitability for employment to BPS Human Resources.

Direct Deposit Authorization Form
You must also attach an official printout from your bank showing your name, routing number, and checking account number (e.g., voided check, or bank's direct deposit form available from your bank teller or online portal)
For Unit A and Unit B only: Form W-9
A W-9 Form must be submitted in order to receive tuition reimbursement
Submit only the first page of the form
For non-us citizens: instead of Form W-9, please submit Form W-8BEN
Required Training
New hires must complete all district required training within 30 days of their hire date.
