Required Training

Belmont Public School District and the state of Massachusetts require mandated training on a variety of topics. Training consists of online videos and documents which you can watch or read from your home computer. These training modules are required for all individuals working with BPS students.

Completion of this training within 30 days of your date of hire is a condition of employment for all district employees including substitutes.

Belmont Public Schools partners with ArxEd for Mandated Training. Founded by educators, ArxEd is a Massachusetts-based company with more than 150 partner districts in Massachusetts. Their Mandated Training Suite streamlines the process and satisfies state and federal requirements. The training, designed for your convenience, can be completed in approximately one to two hours. It is mobile-friendly and allows you to complete it at your own pace and not necessarily in one sitting.

Soon after your hire, you will receive an ArxEd enrollment email with simple instructions on accessing the online course. If you do not receive this email within a week of your hire as a substitute, please email Rebecca Leeb at rleeb@belmontschools.net.

If you know you are enrolled, you may use the direct link to login to the ArxEd training system:

Please see these ArxEd-Tips for Users – contact Rebecca Leeb (rleeb@belmontschools.net) with any further questions or issues.
